Metalsmith / Tool maker
Bill was one of my first students who took Japanese inlay workshop in Portland in 2013. Since then, I have seen his precise and beautiful finished chisel works and I knew that he is the one to ask for Momokoya tools.
"I got started in metalsmithing working my way through school, making jewelry tools for the studio at the University of Oregon.
The work was enjoyable and I needed the money. I found that I like the tradition of tool making, and I like that my work helps other people explore their own creative expression." -- Bill Dawson
